[Hometown Dreams 2 Days 1 Night] Shaoxing, Anchang Ancient Town

FAQ

Why is the per-person price higher for a solo booking than for a group booking on the same tour?

Solo travelers on this route are provided with a private car service, meaning you will have exclusive use of the vehicle, driver, and guide throughout the trip.
When multiple people book together, the vehicle and guide costs are shared among the group, reducing the per-person cost. As a solo traveler, the fee you pay covers the dedicated vehicle and driver-guide for your exclusive service. This tour is tailored specifically for you, so the service level differs from that of a multi-person group. The price difference reflects the fundamental distinction in service models. Why are children charged? How do I choose tickets if I'm unsure about my child's height?

The tour cost includes expenses such as the seat and guide service. These resources are calculated based on the number of travelers, so children must pay their share; bed fees and standard attraction tickets are waived.
If you're unsure about your child's height: select the ticket-free option when booking. Upon arrival at the attraction, your child's actual height will be checked. If they meet the ticketing requirements, you can pay the relevant admission fee on site.

Why choose a premium group tour with no shopping stops?

Choosing a premium no-shopping group tour means spending your precious time enjoying the scenery rather than sitting in shopping stops.
Standard low-cost tours often cover their costs through forced shopping and hidden fees, cutting into sightseeing time and resulting in a poor experience. A no-shopping tour doesn't visit any designated shops and has no hidden fees, so all your time is spent exploring in depth and listening to your guide, making the itinerary much more relaxed. No-shopping tours also typically provide more professional guides and more comfortable vehicles, ideal for travelers who value quality and want to avoid scams. Spend a little more on the tour fee, and save time and peace of mind.

Can the itinerary be fully customized, or do I have to choose a fixed route?

We offer both fully customized and semi-customized itineraries to suit different needs.
Fully customized: Design your own trip from scratch based on your interests, schedule, and budget. Our travel designers will work with you one-on-one to recommend destinations, hotels, and activities, creating a one-of-a-kind route. Ideal for travelers with clear ideas or special needs (e.g., honeymoons, family trips, photography tours).
Semi-customized: If you'd rather not plan from scratch, pick one of our classic routes as a base and adjust it to your preferences—swap hotels, add or remove attractions, extend your stay in certain places, and more.

Can I choose my own hotels and restaurants during the trip?

Yes. You have full control over your itinerary.
Hotel selection: We provide a recommended list based on your budget and preferences, including international luxury chains, boutique design hotels, and distinctive guesthouses. You can pick from the list or specify your preferred hotel (subject to availability). Once confirmed, we will book and secure the room for you.
Restaurant selection: We offer two options. First, we can recommend well-reviewed local restaurants (no group meals—only independent restaurants). Second, you can choose your own restaurants, and your guide will help with reservations and ordering. If you're a food lover, you can also opt for our "in-depth culinary tour," where a professional food guide takes you to authentic private kitchens or Michelin-starred restaurants.
The final decision on all hotels and restaurants is yours—we simply provide professional advice and booking services.

What happens if the weather is bad or an attraction closes unexpectedly?

We have comprehensive contingency plans to ensure your travel experience is not affected.
Early warning: Your guide monitors the weather and attraction announcements daily. In case of severe weather or unexpected closures, they will contact you immediately to adjust the plan.
Backup options: We have pre-designed alternative attractions and activities for every itinerary. For example, if an outdoor site closes due to rain, it can be replaced with a museum, indoor performance, or handicraft workshop.
Force majeure: If extreme weather, natural disasters, or other force majeure events make it impossible to continue the entire trip, we will handle it according to the force majeure clause in your order confirmation and assist you in coordinating refunds or rescheduling with hotels and airlines.
Real-time communication: All adjustments will only be made with your consent. Your safety and experience are always our top priority.
