Why is the per-person price higher for a solo booking than for a group booking on the same tour?

Solo travelers on this route are provided with a private car service, meaning you will have exclusive use of the vehicle, driver, and guide throughout the trip.
When multiple people book together, the vehicle and guide costs are shared among the group, reducing the per-person cost. As a solo traveler, the fee you pay covers the dedicated vehicle and driver-guide for your exclusive service. This tour is tailored specifically for you, so the service level differs from that of a multi-person group. The price difference reflects the fundamental distinction in service models. Why are children charged? How do I choose tickets if I'm unsure about my child's height?

The tour cost includes expenses such as the seat and guide service. These resources are calculated based on the number of travelers, so children must pay their share; bed fees and standard attraction tickets are waived.
If you're unsure about your child's height: select the ticket-free option when booking. Upon arrival at the attraction, your child's actual height will be checked. If they meet the ticketing requirements, you can pay the relevant admission fee on site.

Can the itinerary be fully customized, or do I have to choose a fixed route?

We offer two itinerary modes—fully customized and semi-customized—to meet different needs.
Fully customized: Design your own exclusive itinerary from scratch based on your interests, schedule, and budget. Our travel designers will work with you one-on-one to recommend destinations, hotels, and activities, creating a unique route. Ideal for travelers with specific ideas or special needs (e.g., honeymoons, family trips, photography tours).
Semi-customized: If you prefer not to plan from scratch, choose one of our classic routes as a base and adjust it to your preferences—swap hotels, add or remove attractions, extend your stay somewhere, etc.
Either way, your trip is exclusive and private, with no joining other strangers on a group tour.

What happens if the weather is bad or an attraction closes unexpectedly?

We have comprehensive contingency plans to ensure your travel experience is not affected.
Early warning: Your guide monitors weather and attraction announcements daily. In case of bad weather or sudden closures, they will contact you immediately to adjust the plan.
Backup options: We pre-design alternative attractions and activities for every itinerary. For example, if an outdoor site closes due to rain, it can be replaced with a museum, indoor performance, or craft workshop.
Force majeure: If extreme weather, natural disasters, or other force majeure events prevent the entire trip from continuing, we will handle it according to the force majeure clause in your booking confirmation and assist you in coordinating refunds or rescheduling with hotels and airlines.
Real-time communication: All adjustments will only be made with your consent. Your safety and experience are always our top priority.

Is a Huangpu River cruise recommended for a Shanghai trip?
