A solo booking on this route is actually a private car trip. You have exclusive use of the vehicle, driver and guide for the entire journey instead of joining other travelers.
When multiple people book together, the vehicle and guide costs are shared, lowering the per-person cost. For a solo trip, you bear the full cost of the vehicle, guide and accommodation yourself, so the per-person price is higher.

Why are children charged? How do I choose tickets if I'm unsure about my child's height?

The tour cost includes expenses such as the seat and guide service. These resources are calculated based on the number of travelers, so children must pay their share; bed fees and standard attraction tickets are waived.
If you're unsure about your child's height: select the ticket-free option when booking. Upon arrival at the attraction, your child's actual height will be checked. If they meet the ticketing requirements, you can pay the relevant admission fee on site.
